The European Eye Bank Association (EEBA) is a technical-scientific organization comprising
individual and non-profit institutional members
from eye banks across Europe and beyond.
EEBA provides opportunities for the discussion of all aspects of eye banking practice, including donor selection, procurement, and relevant research.
EEBA fosters education and training in eye banking. It provides a platform for the interchange of information and best practices between eye banks and tissue transplantion communities.
The Association speaks with a confident and representative voice on eye banking in Europe, establishing closer links and collaborative activities with key regulatory bodies (like the Council of Europe and European Commission).
